Core Technology of Wire Harness Thermal Management

Thermal adhesive is an important material for wire harness thermal management. Traditional thermal adhesive consists of single or two-component epoxy resin and thermal conductive filler, which can efficiently export the heat generated by the wire harness. However, the filler ratio of thermal adhesive is closely related to performance, and the more fillers, the better the thermal conductivity. Although a high proportion of fillers can improve thermal conductivity, it will reduce the rheology and mixed application performance of the adhesive, and affect the mechanical strength of the epoxy resin. In addition to thermal conductive glue, the optimization of heat dissipation structure is also crucial. In terms of wiring harness layout, Sejow
Zhenda avoids the centralized arrangement of multiple high heat generating components, reasonably disperses the heat source in the wiring harness, and reduces local overheating. At the same time, optimize the wiring harness routing path and shorten the length of the high current wiring harness to reduce resistance and heat generation. For high-power wiring harnesses and connectors, heat sinks or radiators will be installed to increase the heat dissipation area and improve the heat conduction and dissipation speed.
 
In the design of heat dissipation channels, heat dissipation pipes or channels are arranged around the wiring harness to use air flow to take away heat and enhance the natural convection or forced convection heat dissipation effect. For high heat areas, a liquid cooling system is used to remove heat through the circulation of coolant to effectively reduce the temperature of the wiring harness. In addition, connectors with heat dissipation functions will be used, such as connectors with heat sinks or cooling channels, to enhance the heat dissipation capacity of the connector and reduce the operating temperature.
